The concert of brasspur with Harald Bschorr, Martin Ehrlich, Herbert Hornig, Evgeni Trambev, and Stefan Wiedemann will take place in the largest room of the entire monastery. This room with ornate stucco by Francesco Marazzi from Como [1670-1724] and large old paintings was previously the library, which unfortunately was scattered and lost during secularization.

Führung durch die Irsee Klosterbrauerei

Das Kloster Irsee wurde im 12. Jahrhundert gegründet und die erste Braustätte wurde hauptsächlich für den Eigenbedarf der Benediktiner-Mönche eingerichtet. Als 1803 im Zuge der Säkularisation das Kloster endgültig aufgelöst wurde, wurde die Brauerei Privatbesitz.

Seit der 70-Jahren wurde im Klosterbräu wurde nun wieder mit dem rein handwerklichen altklösterlichen Brauverfahren Bier hergestellt. Im Braumuseum kann der Besucher den Gärkeller besichtigen, in dem das Bier je nach Sorte 80 bis 180 Tage reift.
