Kloster Irsee is located close to Augsburg (70 km), and can be reached
by car:
- from North/West: from Ulm take the motorway A7 to Memmingen, change to the A 96 towards München until Exit 19 - Mindelheim, then follow signs towards Kaufbeuren.
- from East: from München take the A96 (Stuttgart-Lindau) until Exit 19-Mindelheim, then follow signs towards Kaufbeuren.
- from South: from Bregenz/Lindau take the A96 towards München until Exit 19-Mindelheim, then follow signs towards Kaufbeuren.
by train :
train connections from Augsburg, Ulm, München, and Zürich to Kaufbeuren (the nearest intercity railway station, 10 km away), then by taxi to Kloster Irsee.
by plane:
